Flammulaster muricatus (Fr.) Watling Toothed Powdercap. Cap 1.5-3 cm orange-brown covered in upright warty scales, the edge with larger tooth-like scales. Stem with a ring beneath which it is scaley like the cap. Spores 6.5-8.2x4-5 Found on dead or decaying wood normally Beech or other deciduous trees. Gills sinuate, light ochre. Spores 6.5-8.2x4-5um brown to ruety-brown, cheilocytidia clavate-capitate. Rare, on the draft Red Data list. These great pictures were sent to by Mirosław Wantoch-Rekowski from Poland. Found in both Europe and the USA.
